Does anyone here know what .500 hockey is? It’s when you’ve won as many games as you’ve lost. For the 2007-08 Oilers, it means they’ve dug themselves out of a mighty hole this season. They’re 9-4 in their last 13 games, and are playing some decent hockey. Granted their strategy seems to be “get us to a shootout and it will handle itself,” but at least there’s a plan! Plus, they can ride this shootout supremacy all the way to the Cup finals.

Wait, what do you mean there are no shootouts in the playoffs?
