A parting shot before game time

After beating Detroit in a shootout the other night, the chances of the Oilers making the playoffs jumped by 1% to 2.9% yesterday. Today they have risen an additional 0.1% for some unexplained reason.

Hmmm 3.0%—roughly the same odds of Britney Spears appearing on MTV live ever again. We like those odds!

I'll take those odds. When the oil win tonight, they will have rise to at least 3 to 3.65 percent.
