If the full podcast was loading properly I would relish the compliment. Instead I feel I have let everyone down.

Normally on Sundays I go help at the local soup kitchen right before I make my volunteer rounds at the terminally ill children's ward. But since Nation Radio is up early.... screw the homeless, and screw the kids. Thanks Wanye!

I was good listening to Kent. Great piece. Just a comment on fighting in hockey. Hockey is largely a game of fear. Having a fighter as an intimidating factor is purely psychological. Players can often feel a foot taller by just having those guys in the room. Confidence is also a battle of inches. One minute you have it and the next you have egg in your face. Just look at the Canucks. It's hardly a scientific view just my opinion.

@marcus

Those are the common narratives behind employing fighters Marcus, but there's no real evidence they are actually true...or do enough to effect the outcome. The claim that the Canucks lost in the finals because they didn't have a fighter strikes me as hollow - this is the same team that placed first overall during the regular season and beat three other clubs (many of them featuring tough guys) on their way to the finals. If beating them was as simple as "bully them!", the rest of the NHL would have figured it out long before game 7.

If someone can produce evidence to support enforcers in hockey, I'll certainly listen though.

Clearly some were offended more than others...... Though I don't agree with Morgan's antics, saying that the placement of that video at the top had anything to do with hatred is ridiculous. Perhaps the fact that your profile pic dons an Oilers jersey explains it.

Clearly I 'strongly dislike' Edmonton.

Dude. His name is "Jeanshorts". Taking what he says literally is ridiculous.
