Aside from the St. Louis Blues who are now home and dry, pretty much all of the favorites heading into the playoffs are on the ropes. It's been a wacky post-season for fans of playoff teams. Luckily the Flames, Leafs and Oilers faithful don't have to deal with such stress - all that's left for them is to sit back, await the draft and continue to pray for a Canucks first round upset (sorry Canucks fans).

This week on program we welcomed draft gurus Corey Pronman and Kirk Luedeke to talk prospects, as well Nation regulars Kent Wilson and Jonathan Willis to get a feel for the Flames and Oilers off-season.

This is Nation Radio.

Segment 1

First up is Hockey Prospectus' Corey Pronman. Topics include draft player rankings, Griogorenko vs Yakupov and Ryan Murray.

Segment 2

Next up is Red Line Report's Kirk Luedeke who talks the draft and Boston Bruins.

Segment 3

In the third segment, Allan discusses the Raffie Torres Suspension and Oil Kings playoff success with Oil Kings color commentator Kent Simpson.

Segment 4

We veer off the hockey path for a bit to talk to soccer with Kelsie Myroniuk of Edmonton FC.

Segment 5

Kent Wilson of FlamesNation talks with LT about a wide range of topics, including whether or not the Flames will make major changes this summer, the Canucks struggles and the coaching of Brent Sutter.

Segment 6

Finally, we end off with the prolific Jonathan Willis of OilersNation and the Cult of Hockey. JW shares his thoughts on drafting Murray over Yakupov, Ryan Smyth as well as some 2012 predictions.

That was awesome! At first I thought there was a prank caller and they were gonna cut him off. Good thing Hallsy just rolled with it. Shows he's a professional and can take a joke. Love that these two centerpieces of our team are good buddies and like to have fun. We are building a great core and the off ice stuff like this just give me more confidence we will have a winner for a long time. These are character guys.

It was hilarious. And you're right, good on Taylor Hall for not blowing up. Although by the time the teeth comments rolled in I'm sure he was suspicious. :-)

Oil Kings win, Canucks lose, Tobias Rieder gets two more goals to tie for the CHL lead in playoff points with Ty Rattie, the E-ville Roller Derby teams both won yesterday and a high of +22 tomorrow in beautiful Edmonton.

Only shy of a Barons win, and this would have been a very great day.

What no rioting? The mst entitled team in the NHL lose? Where was that 2cd line scoring when they needed it? Oh I forgot they traded Hogdson for a coke machine who did absolutely nothing. Notice who scored for LA? Richards and Stoll.Average guys. Not coke machines. Go Blues. Squeeeeeeeee. Thats the sound of the Nuck orca sucking it.

I don't see why everyone is mocking Vancouver. After falling one playoff win short last year, they battled through the regular season, made the playoffs, and got that one win.

Congrats.
