Jersey advertising coming to the NHL?

The NHL is always looking at ways to generate more money, and don’t be surprised if you see you see a NHL jerseys sporting a “Wanye’s Rehab Clinic” logo in the near future.
USA Today had an interesting article describing that ads on practice and game jerseys will be reality very soon.
Oilers re-sign Reddox and Potulny

The Oilers have re-signed Liam Reddox and Ryan Potulny.
When Reddox refused his offer sheet, it was surprising that that even got out, since Ladislav Smid and Gilbert Brule didn’t accept their original offer sheet either.

Between sending videos, speculating about three-ways (which would be better if they included girls), signing some depth guys and debating who is a better goalie this week has been surprisingly busy for the Oilers and their fans.

The Oilers aren’t blessed with an abundance of proven scorers at this point, in fact as of today they don’t have one 30-goal scorer on the roster. If you don’t have true top-end talent then you need to play a more physical style to be successful.

I remember when Bruce Buchanan used to call Oiler games on TV, and it was a privilege as a kid to get to see a game because not even half of them were televised.
