It's a long weekend Monday and we're back with another edition of the Mailbag. Each and every week, I take your questions and send them out to the Nation writers so that you have an opportunity to learn something. As always, I need questions for next week and if you have something you can you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or DM me at @jsbmbaggedmilk on Twitter. You know the rules. With that, here is this week's mailbag. Enjoy!

No matter how we look at the Oilers power lines, there's only one real opening (2 RW) as the team enters camp. Portside Taylor Hall and Benoit Pouliot, pivots Nuge and McDavid are RW houses Jordan Eberle. That last spot will probably see several candidates in pre-season and during the regular year but there's one obvious candidate who could solve the problem for the next decade. Or is it two?

The Edmonton Oilers are under new management and fate has given them a tremendous chance to turn north in one fell swoop. As we get closer to training camp, the possibility of bringing in players on tryout deals exists. A veteran like Curtis Glencross or Jan Hejda might be able to help and the risk is minimal. Why would a team pass on the opportunity? For one very good reason.
