As you watch these things pinging back and forth like a robotic Forrest Gump, ask yourself if we really aren't on the verge of a Brave New World.

Citizen Alpha handed us the reins to convert the Team 1260 radiola transmissions into pod cast ready files. It took us only four days to figure out how to do this, minus a break last night to watch the Oilers get smoked by the Kings at Rexall Place.

Next week it shouldn't take as long.*

Update: All segments are now working too. Take that Grade 3 teacher who said we can't solve problems with critical thinking.

What the Edmonton Oilers might do in the future or what they could've accomplished this season had an already thin and raw roster not been riddled by injuries is up to debate. That this edition of the Oilers will set several franchise records for ineptitude and futility is not.

While Dustin Penner makes his return to Rexall Place tonight, the legendary Rod Phillips will say goodnight one final time and hopefully it won't be another painful game for Oiler fans to watch.The Hall of Fame voice of the Oilers will call his 3,542nd game tonight, and while the return of Penner doesn't match the emotion of a Gretzky, Messier, Coffey, Kurri, Fuhr,  Anderson, Weight, Smyth, Pronger or even Comrie return it still has an interesting story line.
