Have Your Cake and Eat it Too

ATB and Jordan Eberle want to celebrate the current winning streak by giving you free cake. Seriously!

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, we’ve been posting videos across the Nation of our beloved Eberle using his silky mitts for baking cake instead of scoring highlight real goals. To say that he is missed in the Nation would be an understatement of monumental proportions. Although his injured wing is preventing him from making memories on the ice it hasn’t prevented him from making magic in the kitchen. ATB didn’t want this Eberbaking® to go to waste so they’ve decided to give these tasty creations to you fine citizens — for free!

I know you’re wondering: when is this cake feast going down? Luckily, you don’t have to wait long. Starting first thing tomorrow morning you are invited to celebrate the three game winning streak with free cake! Come down to Little Brick Cafe, District Coffee Co, Elm Cafe and Burrow Central Station to grab some breakfast cake, or to ATB Place after 11:30am for some lunch time Ebercake! And just when you thought this winning streak couldn’t get any sweeter (nailed it!).

It was a night to remember last night. NEVER FORGET IT by buying one of our amazing new shirts! gear.thenationnetwork.com

As the season rolls on I’m still not sure I believe what my eyes are telling me when it comes to Connor McDavid. This kid (he’s 18 years old just in case you need a reminder) is doing things with the puck, at full speed, that most NHLers wouldn’t even try in the shootout. His skills are unparalleled and we, as a Nation, feel unworthy of seeing them on a nightly basis. We’re not saying we’re not worthy of having Connor McDavid be an Oiler. We’re saying that he is so good at hockey we’re almost unworthy of just being in his presence.

As always, this fresh new design is available on the NationGear store with a portion of all proceeds going to our friends at Earth Group in an effort to help provide life essentials to needy folks around the world.
