Thank you everyone for your kind words. They are very appreciated. Also, thank you to those who shared stories of their fathers or mothers and the pain of losing them or the joy of still being able to spend time with them. It truly warmed my heart.

And a big thank you for following through on my ask to reach out to your father today. Your emotions made the day much easier.

God bless and have a great night.

Lost my dad on Aug. 6 this year. Toughest day(s) of my adult life. I reached out to Gregor in those first few days, as I had always enjoyed these blogs, and his heartfelt response was something I needed in that moment. Thank you again Gregor.

I was lucky enough to spend time with my father growing up and thru my adult life and we talked almost daily over the last years. With that said, I would do almost anything to ask him more questions or hear his belly laugh again. He will forever live on in my memories and the the stories i can tell my wife and my friends and family. I now phone my mom each day and am forever thankful for the time I did have with my dad. I cherish it all.

Thanks Gregor for the blog and words and thanks to all you for sharing your stories, I love this yearly post.

    Cheers to all,
    Dave
