WEEKEND UPDATE!

It was a fairly eventful week across the Oilers prospect pool. A major surge for the Bakersfield Condors over the last few weeks has the team on track for the postseason, and some of the junior defensemen are finishing strong. Let’s have a look at the week that was among Edmonton’s prospects. Photo by Mark Williams, all rights reserved.

  • Jaedon Descheneau showed off his skill this week, posting 1-1-2 and perhaps getting more regular work.
  • A quiet week for the Anton Lander line, but Joey Laleggia scored a big goal for the Condors.

  • With NCAA seasons winding down, it is possible we see some of these young men sign. William Lagesson is eligible to return to UMass-Amherst, but might be ready to turn pro. The Oilers would need to cull another LHD in Bakersfield to make it happen.
