The last few days without Oilers hockey has been pretty uneventful and depressing. Everyone on Twitter is gearing up to cheer for their team in the playoffs and we’re all here twiddling our thumbs waiting for the draft lottery to happen.
BUT YESTERDAY, I finally took a look into some fantasy hockey news and filled out my playoff bracket and admittedly I’m pretty ecstatic for playoffs to start tomorrow. With that said, I give you the Nation Network’s 2018 Nationdrafts Fantasy Pool!
I’m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but my bracket looks pretty identical to last years. I’ve got the Nashville Predators beating the Anaheim Ducks in the Western Conference, and the Pittsburgh Penguins beating the Tampa Bay Lightning in the East. Who’s going to win the cup? I’m voting for Nashville although I accidentally picked the Penguins in the Oilersnation Bracket Challenge (to be announced soon).
Since I nearly copy-pasted my bracket from last year you can tell how well experienced I am at fantasy pools. If you think you can take me and my backpack of experience on in the Nationdrafts Playoff Pool this year I DARE YOU TO. Head over to www.nationdrafts.com to build your team. The best part about this whole draft is that it’s FREE and we’ve got some great prizes to go with it.
This is a classic box format fantasy draft. Once you sign up, we’ll give you an assortment of boxes with players in each of them. Your job is to pick the player in each box who you think is going to dominate amongst the others. Easy, right? It might be tough this time around. With Evgeni Malkin and Steven Stamkos in the same box, who’s a guy to pick?
No Nation Draft is complete without prizes, and we have exactly that! Considering the draft is free, and you can be anywhere in the world to enter, you shouldn’t have an excuse not to sign up!
