Edmonton Oilers defenceman, Adam Larsson, came up big for Team Sweden today as he scored the game winning goal in the third period of today’s matchup against Switzerland.
Larsson’s first goal of the tournament and game winner came at the best possible time as the 5-3 win over Switzerland keeps them in the top spot in Group A ahead of their next game against Russia. When initially scored, Larsson’s goal put the Swedes up by two which was space they needed as the Swiss opened up the period with a goal from Raphael Diaz to keep the game close.
