The Way I See It: Fearless Predictions

A year ago at this time. I picked the Edmonton Oilers and Pittsburgh Penguins to meet in the Stanley Cup final, Todd McLellan to win the Jack Adams Award as top coach and the Vegas Golden Knights to be dead-last in the Western Conference. Other than that, I was pretty much bang-on. Actually, no.


Stuart Skinner assigned to the ECHL

One of the many ongoing questions we had throughout this summer was how our goaltender prospects were going to be handled. Sure, this may not be as pressing news as the Jason Garrison signing earlier, but with the recently added goaltenders at this years draft, I have been waiting patiently for this news. 


Predictions and Expectations

Last year I missed the mark on the Edmonton Oilers. I thought they’d be a playoff contender — not a Stanley Cup contender, but in the playoffs nonetheless. They didn’t come close to being the team I thought they would. Since no one likes a quitter, here are my predictions for this season.

This past off-season wasn’t exactly a positive one around Oilersnation. They didn’t make any big additions, instead opting for a series of small bets and hoping that some of their young players can take big strides forward and a group of key veterans can have bounce-back seasons.
