Inside the Nation: Line combos, Khaira’s suspension, and Puljujarvi’s opportunity

Welcome, Nation, to yet another Thursday episode of Inside the Nation. It’s the twice-weekly web series, where Dustin Nielson goes live on our Facebook page to discuss all things Edmonton Oilers. This week, Dusty looks at the new line combinations from today’s practice, Jujhar Khaira’s suspension, Jesse Puljujarvi’s opportunity on the first line, and a whole lot more.

To start of today’s show, Dusty jumped right in with a look at the new line combinations from today’s practice and whether or not they will be able to unlock more offence. How will Jesse Puljujarvi fare on the first line? Can he make the most of his opportunity with McNuge? Next up, Dusty looks at Jujhar Khaira’s suspension and whether or not it was too much given the exchange between him and Vince Dunn. Lastly, he looked at the goaltending situation and takes a guess as to how Hitchcock will deploy his two goalies and in what kind of split. Does Koskinen get two of every three games? Is that enough? Get the answers to these questions and more in today’s episode of the Inside the Nation.
