Oilers Trim Roster: Send Six Down To Bakersfield

The NHL preseason has had another round of casualties as team’s begin to reduce their rosters as the drop drop on the 2019-20 NHL regular season nears. The Edmonton Oilers announced that they have cut their training camp roster down by six players, sending them all to the Bakersfield Condors of the AHL.

The move comes on the heels of the team dropping the second game of the 2019 preseason, a 4-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena last night, although none of the six players who are being sent to the Oilers’ AHL affiliate saw any preseason action.
