Inside the Nation: Oilers roster cuts, Golden Bears updates, and the #SummerOfLineys

It’s a Saturday edition of Inside the Nation with Dusty Nielson. In today’s episode, he looks at the recent roster cuts that happened, the bonding trip to Kelowna, an updated #SummerOfLineys, and keeps everyone up to date on the Golden Bears.

To start off today’s episode, Dusty Nielson looked at Anton Burdasov’s Edmonton Oilers debut and whether or not he has a legitimate chance to make the opening night roster. Considering all of the players that are still vying for the same jobs, Dusty questioned whether or not he’ll be able to do enough to surpass one of the veterans he’s competing against. Despite the cuts that happened on Friday, the Oilers still have plenty of unanswered questions at the bottom of the lineup and it will be interesting to see how that shakes out. Speaking of competition, this week’s look at the #SummerOfLineys saw Nielson taking Jujhar Khaira out of the lineup in favour of Colby Cave.
