Last night may have been the most disappointing loss of the season for the Edmonton Oilers. Returning home and playing in a nationally televised game against a division rival, the Oilers laid an egg. They simply did not play very well. Now, the task gets even tougher as they’ll need a road victory to salvage the split in their home and home.
Lots of jersey & logo talk at the end of the podcast this week!
Aside from the Oilers, what's your favourite logo in the NHL?

It’s far from the end of the world for the Oilers. They’re without their third-best player and they’re still leading the division but, a loss tonight really tightens the gap between them and the Canucks. The good news for the Oilers is that they’ll get to start their number one goalie tonight. Mike Smith got the start last night so Mikko Koskinen will be between the pipes for the Oilers.
The Oilers came out flat in front of their home crowd and that performance shouldn’t sit well in the room. Leon Draisaitl also failed to register a point for the second straight game, which is just the second time this season that has happened. Simply put: we should see a very motivated Oilers team tonight.
