Another Wednesday is upon us, and that means it was time for me to jump on with the boys at The Locker Room to talk about what’s going on in the world of sports and try to provide a little bit of levity in an otherwise trying time.
To kick off today’s appearance, we tried to keep things light with a look some at the best sports movies of all time and I gave a quick list of my favourites. Getting back to hockey, we looked at some of the options that are floating around, including the 24-team tournament idea that came up on Monday and the proposed idea from the players to resume the schedule in August. Obviously, everyone is guessing and hoping that the season will be able to continue even though stories are changing so much by the day, and I made a case for why being hopeful is so important. Lastly, we checked in on some self distancing goals that the guys are working through right now and how we can keep our minds busy during this time inside.
