William Lagesson returning to North America

Oilers give Ty Rattie one-year deal

It looks like the Oilers believe in Ty Rattie. After a solid late-season showing playing alongside Connor McDavid on the team’s top line, Rattie has been given a one-year extension. Per Elliotte Friedman, it’ll be worth $800k.

Oilers sign Cooper Marody to entry-level contract

According to the Oilers Twitter account, the team has signed the newly acquired Cooper Marody to a three-year entry-level contract. The 21-year-old centreman still had a year of college eligibility left but will instead make the jump to professional hockey after three seasons with the University of Michigan Wolverines.
