Laurent Brossoit will make his seventh-straight start tonight when the Oilers host the Nashville Predators. Brossoit has played in each game since Cam Talbot was placed on the injured reserve, while Nick Ellis has watched from the bench. After a shaky start, Brossoit has been effective as of late. Since allowing five goals against the Flames back on Dec. 2, Brossoit has posted .926 save percentage in his last four games and now owns a .901 save percentage for the season.

The Predators will use Pekka Rinne in back-to-back games after last night’s win over the Canucks in Vancouver. Rinne has had a strong season for the Preds, posting a .927 save percentage through 24 starts. Despite the fact he played last night, he had an easy work load against a mediocre Canucks team.
