Real Life Podcast Episode 297 – Duncan Keith Trade Day

The weekend may be over, but the good news is that the boys are back with a fresh episode of the Real Life Podcast to help get you going and to make sense of the world around us. This week, the guys covered the Duncan Keith trade, Baggedmilk’s gift to Jay, listener voicemails, and a whole lot more.

To kick things off, the guys got started with a conversation about the Duncan Keith trade that just broke right before the podcast started and tried to make sense of why this deal had to happen now. Surprisingly, the boys on the podcast were split on the trade even though many Oilers fans were completely shocked that Holland decided to pull the trigger on the deal that’s been talked about for weeks now. Unsurprisingly, no one was able to find middle ground on the trade but instead decided to leave things for a bit and see was else Holland does this offseason. From there, the conversation turned to Big Brother, which is the boys’ favourite summer pastime, but unfortunately, not everyone was caught up yet but the excitement was still real. Lastly, the guys wrapped up this week’s podcast with another look at the answering machine, as the listeners of the podcast flooded the boys with messages ranging from SlamBall talk to Disc Golf.
