They aren’t always pretty, but on Monday night the Edmonton Oilers were able to pull out a big win over the Winnipeg Jets in an extended OT period number one. That lead to tonight’s Game Four where the Oilers will have their brooms out, with the Stanley Cup Playoffs in their sights. How we got here:

In case you missed it, we ran a completely random sim (aside from some tweaking to the sliders to make them more realistic for a 20 minute period sim) and the Edmonton Oilers, valiantly fought hard to make a series of it in the Western Conference Finals before falling to the Dallas Stars in 7 games.
