The former Oilers defenseman, head coach, and general manager is in studio!
He tells some great stories from his playing days like what it was like winning the Stanley Cup with the @New York Rangers, the Mike Milbury incident during his Bruins’ days, the best goalie he ever played with, the best roommate while on the road, and what it was like joining the @Edmonton Oilers in the middle of the 1980s.
Then he talks about his post-playing days, including coaching Gager back in the day, putting together Team Canada at this year’s Spengler Cup team, what it was like getting into coaching, who the hardest players were to coach, losing good players to trades in the middle of a season like Bill Guerin and Ryan Smyth, the Harvey the Hound incident, feuding with Bob Hartley, his thoughts on the new Battle of Alberta, his coaching future in the NHL, his time in the KHL, and the 2006 Stanley Cup run.
