Adam Larsson back from Sweden, on the ice for morning skate
According to the Oilers’ official Twitter account, Adam Larsson has returned from Sweden and is back on the ice with his teammates at the morning skate.
After missing the last two games to attend his father’s funeral back in Sweden, Larsson returned to the ice with his teammates for the morning skate. Though he won’t be playing tonight, having Larsson back with the team is a positive nevertheless. Not only is he a pillar for Edmonton’s defence, he is also a beloved teammate that was surely missed. Regardless of when he gets back into the lineup, Larsson will be a substantial addition for an Oilers defensive group that has now lost three straight games.
In 47 games played this season, Larsson has registered eight points (3G, 5A) and leads the team in average time on ice at even strength (19:11) and on the PK (2:18). The Oilers will also look forward to having Larsson’s physicality back in the lineup as he currently sits in second place in hits with 178 and fourth in blocked shots with 102.
