If you’re looking for a way to kill 13 minutes of your Monday afternoon, then I’d highly recommend checking out this video compilation of Connor McDavid’s 100 career goals that Sportsnet put together.

For as much as we complain about the Edmonton Oilers and the way they’re run (rightfully so IMO), one of the only things that always keeps us going is the ability to watch Connor McDavid do his thing on a nightly basis. The guy is magic on ice and if it weren’t for him then I dread to think of where we’d be. On Monday night, McDavid scored the 100th goal of his NHL career against the San Jose Sharks after he lost himself in traffic, popping up at the perfect time to put home the pass from the slot.

Any favourites from the video? Obviously, the Columbus goal in his first game back from a broken collarbone will always stick out, but there are so many others that deserve some love. His hat trick goal against the Flames to kick off last season, his quick turn at the blue line/shelf against the Ducks… the list goes on and on. All I know for sure is that this video is definitely worth the time and I recommend watching it each and every time you’re feeling down. Now, if only the Oilers can gas their general manager and find someone that can put a team around McDavid so that he’s not always doing everything by himself. Dare to dream.
