Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: Decade in Review

With the Christmas break coming up next week, I checked in with the boys at The Locker Room for my last radio appearance of the year and this week, we looked back at the decade that was. Spoiler: It wasn’t great.

To start off this week’s appearance, Lochlin asked me whether or not I was upset that the Oilers didn’t trade for @Taylor Hall. According to TSN’s Pierre LeBrun, the Oilers were in the mix until the very end but at the end of the day, I’m happy that Ken Holland didn’t expend the assets required to make the deal happen. At this point, the Oilers just don’t have enough in their prospect cupboard to justify a rental deal like this and I think he made the right move in keeping his powder dry. Next up, we took a quick look back at the decade that was and I tried to pick out some highlights that happened in an otherwise forgettable 10-year stretch. @Connor McDavid anybody?
