Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: Give us Erik Karlsson… please

Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.

To kick off this week’s segment, we got started with a look back at the disastrous loss in Montreal on Sunday morning. Despite the fact that this game should have been a layup for our boys, they did not have their legs with them and paid for it to the tune of a 6-2 loss. It hurt, our bets did not cash, and all we can do is flush it and move on. But if you think the Oilers’ run of matinees is done, we’ve got another one on Sunday against the Colorado Avalanche that kicks off at 1 PM MT and three more following that one to close out the year. From there we moved over to the Erik Karlsson rumours that are basically consuming the city at this point, and I offered my take on whether or not I think this trade will actually happen. In a way, I compare this situation to buying a lottery ticket and fantasizing about the new house you’re going to buy with the winnings. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s segment with a look at the Oilersnation 15th Anniversary Party that will happen on March 18th at the Pint Downtown. Not only will we be throwing a viewing party and giving away a tonne of prizes, but we’ll also be raising money for charity while we’re at it, making this event one that you will need to circle on your calendar.
