Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: It’s Edmonton Oilers Season Opener Day!

Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.

To kick off this week’s segment, we got started with what has me most excited about the Edmonton Oilers. Obviously, we get excited about our chances to win every single summer, but this year absolutely feels different to me. This year, it feels like the Oilers really do have a chance to make some noise, and I know I say that every summer, but you can’t tell me that the vibes around this team aren’t different. Personally, I think there’s something to the idea of having to learn how to win, and I’m hoping that the tough loss to the Avalanche in the Western Conference Final will be a step in that direction. Not to mention, I really think this team is very good right now and that they’ll be in a position to add at the trade deadline, which will only increase our chances. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s segment with a look at the Season Launch Party that’s happening on Saturday night at SOHO, and why I think this is an event you will absolutely want to be at.
