Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: Oilers back in the win column and Connor McDavid at the Junos

Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.

To kick off this week’s segment, we got started with a look at last night’s massive 6-3 win over the Ottawa Senators that put the Oilers back in the win column after a horrible finish on Saturday night in Toronto. Needless to say, the Sens aren’t nearly as good as the Leafs but it was the kind of win the boys needed to have in a situation like that. From there, we changed gears to talk about Connor McDavid’s appearance at the Junos and whether or not we actually believe that his favourite band is Nickleback. And while there’s no doubt that Nickelback takes way too much hate for absolutely no reason. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s appearance with another look at the Oilersnation 15th Anniversary party that’s coming up on Saturday at the Pint Downtown.
