Better Lait Than Never Ep. 18 – Oilers unstoppable at home, Clinchmas Eve, and a love letter to Jay Woodcroft

Is there anything better than a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never to help us all get set for Clinchman? Absolutely not. The Edmonton Oilers are rolling and I am fired up about it!

Getting this week’s podcast started, I jumped in with a look at everything that’s happened over the last week as the Oilers inch closer to locking down their playoff spot in the Pacific Division. And seeing as the boys won all three games they’ve played since the last show — take that Nashville, Vegas, and the godless Stars — how can you not feel good about where the Oilers are at right now? With the Magic Number sitting at two, the earliest the boys can possibly clinch is tomorrow (Friday) against the Colorado Avalanche, but with the regular-season finish line so damned close, I’m starting to get excited about what’s to come. Lastly, I wrapped up this week’s podcast with another round of voicemails and answered your questions on everything from the Oilers to grocery deals to wine recommendations and everything in between.
