Better Lait Than Never: Oilers need to rebound, reffing problems, and a look around the NHL

It’s Wednesday afternoon and that means I’ve got a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never to recap what’s been happening over the last week and what the hell is going on with our beloved Edmonton Oilers.

To kick off this week’s podcast, I got started with a quick recap of our trip to Las Vegas and tried to cover some of the things we didn’t touch on during Real Life or ONR. Given that we were there for five days, we got up to plenty of shenanigans but I figured it would be fun to give you an idea of what it’s like for us to work on the road. Getting back to the Oilers, it was hard not to still feel annoyed and angry about the way things went on Monday night even though I’m pretty damned confident that the boys will be able to rebound in tonight’s rematch. From there, I looked around the NHL at the other series that are going on, and it’s honestly wild to see how lopsided these games (and sometimes series) have been. Are the Kraken legit? Will the Leafs get swept? So many questions need answers! Lastly, I wrapped up the episode with another round of voicemails to get your take on what’s been going on over the last week.
