Are we reaching the point in our relationship where your Wednesday would feel incomplete without a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never? Good news, friends. I’m back with a fresh podcast that’s set, edited, and ready for your earholes.
Kicking off this week’s podcast, I got started with a quick recap of my trip to Kelowna to see my mom. From hanging out at the beach to taking a wine tour around some of Kelowna’s coolest wineries, my weekend away was an absolute blast and one that I desperately needed. Back to BLTN business, the investigation continues into who is leaving messages as Xol the Will of Thousands, including some new listener allegations about who it might be. Needless to say, this story is nowhere near over.  Turning the podcast back toward the Oilers, how could I not be excited about seeing the boys back on the ice at Rogers Place? Feeling like they’ve got something to prove this season, the captain’s skates kicked off yesterday, and hearing the fellas talk about wanting to be as prepared as possible when the season gets going sent a shiver down my spine and into my loins. As gross as that metaphor may be to you, I could not care less because having the Oilers back on the ice makes me so very excited for the start of a new NHL season. In former Oiler news, Nail Yakupov appeared on Dropping the Gloves with John Scott this week and hearing some of his stories from his time in Edmonton was pretty intense. Honestly, I felt bad for the guy. Lastly, I wrapped up the episode with a fresh round of voicemails to get your take on everything that’s been going on since last week’s episode. Oh, and subscribe to my YouTube channel.
