Betway Bets of the Day — All in on the New Jersey Devils and Victor Wembanyama in his NBA debut

There’s few players who have been hotter to start the year than Jack Hughes. He quickly entering the superstar conversation in thanks to a start to the season where he’s scored four goals and 14 points in five games.

Tonight, the Devils take on the Washington Capitals — a team who has struggled mightily out of the gate, and are starting Hunter Shepard in his NHL debut. Godspeed to him.

We’ll also back the Devils on the puckline taking them -1.5 at -105.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Victor Wembanyama to score over 17.5 points. These odds sit at -125.

Do I know much about basketball? No, I certainly do not.

But what I do know is Victor Wembanyama is about to take on the NBA by storm. After being taken first overall by the San Antonio Spurs in last years draft, the 7’3″, 19-year-old center was dominant in the pre-season. His size and span made him look like a cheat code through his four pre-season games, in which he cashed the over on this point prop in three of four games.

In the games he cashed, he did so with relative ease hitting the 19, 23, and 20 point mark. Some people are already saying he could become one of the best to ever play the game, so I know I’ll be tuning in tonight to see what he’s all about.
