Betway Bets of the Day — Back the LA Kings to blow out the Washington Captials

Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!

Our first bet of the day will be taking the LA Kings on the -1.5 puckline. These odds sit at +115.

The Kings are quietly one of more dominant teams this year. They’ve posted a 13-3-3 record, and are outscoring their opponents at a +29 differential. They have three excellent lines they can roll, and I expect that to happen tonight when they take on the Washington Capitals. While the Caps are finding ways to win hockey games this year, their struggles are also evident posting a -6 goal differential.

Based on Daily Faceoff’s DFS charts, the Kings’ top three lines are all in a great spot tonight, namely their top line of Anze Kopitar, Adrian Kempe and Quinton Byfield. They matchup well against the Capitals’ top line, and should be able to find the back of the net with ease.

We’re also backing the Kings to score o3.5 goals and for Byfield to score a point. Both lines sit at -110.

Both Byfield and Kempe have the highest points per hour rate on the line, a 3.4 rate, but the former’s odds are in a more profitable spot than Kempe’s, which sit at -200.
