Wyatt Johnston and the Dallas Stars are in a great spot tonight against the Buffalo Sabres, with their 3.6 implied goal total being tied for the highest on the slate. He enters tonight’s game having cashed this prop in four of his last five games, and in 22 of 49 on the year.

And with nine points in his last 10 games, scoring so many in five of those contests, we’re also going to back him to score 1+ point. Those odds sit at +110.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Alexander Ovechkin to take over 3.5 shots. These odds sit at -125.

Ovechkin’s pursuit of Wayne Gretzky’s scoring title has grinded to a halt this season, but he’s still maintaining good shot volume with 3.43 per game this year. He’s cashed this prop in just one of his last five games, and in only 19 of 44 on the season, but in a great matchup against the Montreal Canadiens tonight, it’s hard to avoid this spot.
