Our first bet of the day is taking Adam Henrique to score a goal, with odds sitting at +250. This will be a half unit play.

It’s a bit of a longshot play here, but Uncle Rico has racked up 23 goals in 79 games this season, five of which have come in the 19 games he’s played with the Oilers. He’s bumped up to the Oilers’ top line alongside Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman tonight, so he’s going to have more than enough chance to score a goal, or get on the scoresheet.

That’s why we’re going to put a unit on Henrique to score 1+ point, with odds sitting at -125.

Our second bet of the day is taking Mattias Ekholm to take over 2.5 shots on goal, with odds sitting at -105. This bet will be for two units.

Forget just defencemen, there are few hotter players as a whole in the NHL than the Viking. In his last 14 games, he’s racked up six goals, 16 points and taking 43 shots, averaging 3 per game. All this, mind you, coming at 5v5 beyond one single assist.

The only players who have more 5v5 points over that stretch? Auston Matthews and Sidney Crosby. Yeah, Ekholm’s been good. Let’s back him to stay hot and keep firing the puck, as he’s already cashed this one nine times over that stretch. With the Oilers taking on the Sharks, he should have more than enough chance to continue to do so.
