Our first bet of the day will be taking Connor McDavid to score a goal. These odds sit at -134.

It’s been a slow start to the season by McDavid’s standards, going pointless in three games, and cashing this prop in four of 13. That being said, he’s seemed much more activated in the last two or three games, and has always had success against the Bolts. He’s scored 16 points in 10 games against them, and has scored 2+ points in each of his last five games against them, too.

Our second bet of the day will be taking under 6.5 goals between the Washington Capitals and Columbus Blue Jackets. These odds sit at -125.

Both of these teams have struggled this season, with the Capitals cashing the under in 11 of 14 games, while the Blue Jackets in eight of 17. This spot has all the feeling of another game where both sides, who on paper may have a good match up against each other, struggle to generate much offence.
