Betway Bets of the Day — Backing plus-money point and shot props

Our first bet of the day will be taking Ross Colton to score a point. These odds sit at +115.

The Colorado Avalanche forward has been elevated to their second line, playing alongside Mikko Rantanen, and Miles Wood, the latter of whom he played with earlier in the year. The lineup shuffle comes in the wake of Valeri Nichushkin, meaning Colton has replaced him on the Avalanche’s top powerplay unit.

He’s scored 12 points in 25 games, cashing this prop in 11 of them, and he should have every chance to do so again tonight.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Jack Hughes to take over 4.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at +115.

I’ll take this prop at plus-money any day of the weak, because matchup be damned, Hughes has been crushing this prop. He’s hit it in 10 of 18 games this year, taking six shots on goal five times, and both eight and nine shots on goal twice. He’s hit it against stronger defensive teams like the Islanders, Rangers and Panthers, so I’m not worried about him having issue tonight against the Kraken.
