Our first bet of the day is on Timo Meier to score 1+ point, with odds sitting at -134.

Meier is on fire as of late, with 12 points in his last eight games and 19 in his last 25 games. With just 34 points on the season, Meier’s game has hit another level as of late, akin to his time with the San Jose Sharks when he was a dominant force.

He’s also fared well against the Rangers in the past, scoring eight points in 12 games, cashing this prop in seven of them. Look for him to be in the mix offensively tonight.

Our second bet of the day is on Nikolaj Ehlers to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -134.

I love this spot for Ehlers tonight against the Washington Capitals. He’s hit this prop in two of his last five games and in 13 of his last 25 games, bringing with a 10.5 shots on goal per 60 rate over that stretch. That’s sixth highest among all forwards on tonight’s slate, going up against a Washington squad who has given up over 30 per hour in their last 10 games.

Ehlers has also got points in six of his last 10 games, totalling eight points, so let’s back him to get one tonight. Those odds sit at -110.
