Our first bet of the day will be taking Sam Reinhart to score a power play point. These odds sit at +135.
This spot feels like a misprice tonight, as Reinhart has cashed this prop in 18 of 44 games so far this season, with a stunning 16 power-play goals. It’s a mark that leads all NHL players by three goals, with Valeri Nichushkin’s 13 second in the league.
Reinhart has been a key cog of the Panthers’ season, with 33 huge goals for them and 56 big points. Florida’s power play has a favourable matchup tonight, too. According to Daily Faceoff’s DFS charts, they have the seventh-best power play in the league this season, while their opponents, the Minnesota Wild, have the 25th-ranked power play in the league.
This gives the Panthers a huge advantage, and Daily Faceoff’s charts are projecting .72 expected power play goals by them tonight. If they are to tickle twine on the man advantage, look for Reinhart to be involved.
