Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day is on Leon Draisaitl to score 2+ points, with odds at -110.
Shocker: Leon Draisaitl continues to be a big-time playoff performer — one of the best all-time, might I add?
He’s already up to eight goals and 20 points through nine playoff games this year, surpassing his 18 points in 12 playoff games last year. Half of those points have come against Vancouver. He’s cashed this prop in each of the Oilers’ four games against them these playoffs, and despite playing significantly fewer minutes in Game 4 than the prior two, was the best player on the ice.
Look for him to continue to drive play tonight against the Canucks.
Our second bet of the day is on Zach Hyman as an anytime goalscorer, with odds at -118.
Zach Hyman has been quiet… too quiet.
He hasn’t found the back of the net since Game 1 of this series, despite firing 15 shots on goal in the last three games, despite racking up 3.99 individual expected goals, according to Natural Stat Trick. He continues to be excellent, and I could see him having a big game tonight.
We’ll add Hyman to score 2 or more goals, with odds at +400 for half a unit.
Our fourth bet of the day is on Darnell Nurse to take over 1.5 shots on goal, with odds at -160.
Nurse looked much better in Game 4 alongside Vincent Desharnais and has cashed this prop in three of four games so far this series and in five of nine games this post-season. Let’s see if he can cash this sprinkle toni
