Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day will be taking Filip Forsberg to score a goal. These odds sit at +140.
Forsberg has been bitten by the shooting percentage bug so far, with one goal on 36 shots to start the year. That’s just 2.8 percent, for those counting at home, and 9.9 percent below his career average. Forsberg is too good of a shooter for that number to remain so low, and it’s going to bounce back sooner, rather than later. His lone goal came on the powerplay, but looking at his 5v5 numbers, his 1.4 individual expected goals per hour are ranked second on the slate, and is far and away the highest of any goalless forwards tonight.
If you want to get weird with some stats, Forsberg has scored 71 of his 240 career goals on a Tuesday, in just 148 games played on that day of the week.
We’re also going to put .4 units on Forsberg to score 2 or more goals. These odds sit at +600.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Trevor Moore to score 1+ point. These odds sit at +105.
Trevor Moore has points in five of eight games this year. Trevor Moore has seven points in eight games. Trevor Moore only has one point in five career games against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Trevor Moore also has one of the best matchups on the slate.
Lots to unpack, but I like this plus-money spot tonight. According to Daily Faceoff’s DFS charts, the Kings’ third line, featuring Moore, has the third best matchup on the entire slate tonight, and are the second best offensive line, too. They, according to the same charts, are slated to play 62 percent of their 5v5 ice time against the Maple Leafs’ bottom-six, which feature the third worst, and worst defensive line on the slate.
Fire it up.
Record: 20-15 (+2.55u, +6.62 ROI%)
Yesterday: 2-1 (+1.09u, +46.6 ROI%)
Last 7: 7-6 (-0.64u, -4.74 ROI%)
