Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day will be taking the Edmonton Oilers to win on the moneyline. These odds sit at -165.
Despite comments from Jay Woodcroft Saturday afternoon calling Connor McDavid a game-time decision, all signs are pointing towards the superstart returning to the Oilers’ lineup Sunday evening. The captain had missed the prior two due to an upper-body injury but skated Saturday during the Oilers’ pre-game skate and looked good doing so.
It goes without saying how great of a player McDavid is, and how important he is to the Oilers as a whole. Should he return like many expect, he will undoubtedly lead the change for the Oilers in the hunt for an important two points.

THE BETS OF THE DAY ARE PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Our second bet of the day will be taking over 6.5 total goals. These odds sit at -110.
Defence has been optional for both clubs early in the season. The Oilers have cashed the over in four of seven games so far this year, and it’s hit in four of eight for the Flames, too.
In the last five matches between these clubs including playoff games, the over has cashed three times, and I like the chances of that happening again tonight.
Record: 15-13 (-0.06u, -.18 ROI%)
Last 7: 4-6 (-4.58u, -38.17 ROI%)
Yesterday: 1-1 (-1u, -33.33 ROI%)
