In today’s game against Norway at the World Championships, Connor McDavid added another highlight reel goal to his resume. His second goal of today’s game was one that you’re likely to see a few times on Sportscentre as McDavid managed to get a shot off while falling to beat Lars Haugen for his second of the game.
There is little doubt that Connor McDavid is one of the most electrifying hockey players in the world today. He just wrapped up his third NHL season, added a second straight Art Ross Trophy, and his toolbox of skills is a hand full for his opponents. Team Norway found that out the hard way today as Connor McDavid put up a hat trick in today’s game, highlighted by this beautiful second goal that he scored while falling.

So far in the tournament, Connor McDavid leads Team Canada in scoring with 10 points (4G, 6A) in four games as he looks to catch Sebastian Aho who currently leads the tournament in scoring with 12. Team Finland did not play today which gave McDavid the chance to gain some ground on the Carolina Hurricanes sniper.
The World Hockey Championship runs from May 4-20th, 2018, in Copenhagen and Herning, Denmark, at the Royal Arena and Jyske Bank Boxen respectively. View the full schedule here.
