It’s trade deadline time, lambs. And there’s nothing better than talking smack about who should be traded, who should come here and why, “Jarret Stoll plus Smid PLUS a second-round draft pick should be enough to pry Ovechkin out of Washington…” Right?

But it ain’t that easy—no way.

Here’s the deal: we have in our hot little hands a brand spankin’ new Oilers jersey—road white, size Large. And we’re going to give it to someone—but not just anyone. This someone must propose the deal that makes the most sense to the Nation.

We will be selecting the six best trades, and everyone will be voting on them the day before the deadline and on deadline day. The winner gets an Oilers jersey. It’s that simple.
