Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Given that the Chicago Blackhawks are missing half of their team, there is no good reason in my mind that the Oilers should lose this hockey game barring some kind of universal intervention. Call me biased or whatever you want to say, but Chicago is in horrible shape due to injuries, and that paves the way for an eighth straight win. That said, I also understand what can happen when you look past games that should be free spots on the bingo board, and that cannot happen in tonight’s rematch versus the Blackhawks. Needless to say, we’ve seen the Oilers lose lay-up games before, but I just don’t think that’s going to happen this time. Dare to dream?
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’m using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Player Prop:

My $5 bet would return $11.00.

Easy Money:

Over 61.5 total shots at -111. My $5 bet would return $9.54.

Risky Business:

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +250. My $5 bet would return $17.50.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Oilers to win and over 7.5 total goals at +220. My $5 bet would return $16.00.

RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Last Game

I love nothing more than watching the Oilers kick a team when they’re down, and that’s exactly what happened on Saturday night against Ottawa. The boys won the game, I won a bet or two, and all was well in the world.
Here’s what I bet against the Senators:
  • Leon Draisaitl to register a power play point at +125.
  • Over 66.5 total shots on goal at -118. ✅
  • Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +225.
  • Edmonton Oilers money line and over 5.5 total goals at +100.
And there you have it, friends. Now you know what I’m betting on and how I did last game. As always, I put one unit down on each bet. Hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Blackhawks.
It’s also worth noting that betting lines move throughout the day, so that may be the reason why what’s listed above doesn’t match what’s on Betway when you put together your own bets.
