Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
After dominating the Flames and picking up a much-needed win at the Heritage Classic, the Oilers are back against a much more formidable opponent in the Dallas Stars. As much as Sunday’s win turned the vibes around for many of us, the reality is that Calgary is a dreadful hockey team and picking up another two points against the Stars will be a much taller order. That said, Dallas comes into tonight’s contest in the second half of a back-to-back set, which could allow the Oilers the chance to turn one win into two, provided that they give us the same level of effort. Of course, making that happen is easier said than done, as we know all too well that the boys have yet to get themselves to the level we all expected them to be. That said, if we get another 60 minutes like we did four days ago, then there’s no reason that our boys won’t be right there at the end.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’m using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Dallas Stars.

Player Prop:

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to register a power play point at +115. My $5 bet would return $10.75.

Easy Money:

Over 1.5 total power play goals at +100. My $5 bet would return $10.00.

Risky Business:

Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid both to score at +250. My $5 bet would return $17.50.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Over 6.5 total goals and Leon Draisaitl to register 2+ points at +150. My $5 bet would return $12.50.

RISKY BUSINESS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Last Game

You know, a Leon Draisaitl goal would have gone a long way for your boy. Am I upset? No. Do I wish I did better? Absolutely yes.
Here’s what I bet against the Flames:
  • Evan Bouchard to register 1+ assist at +105.
  • Leon Draisaitl over 2.5 shots at -150.
  • Leon Draisaitl and Evander Kane both to score at +400.
  • Oilers to win and Leon Draisaitl any time goal at +180.
And there you have it, friends. Now you know what I’m betting on and how I did last game. As always, I put one unit down on each bet. Hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Stars.
It’s also worth noting that betting lines move throughout the day, so that may be the reason why what’s listed above doesn’t match what’s on Betway when you put together your own bets.
