Evander Kane scored a hat trick as the Edmonton Oilers pulled off a comeback win over the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday. Below are the highlights from the game.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS ARE PRESENTED BY BETWAY

After a scoreless first period, Connor McDavid opened the scoring for the Oilers five minutes into the second frame. He took a pass from Leon Draisaitl, broke into Seattle’s zone, and deked out Joey Daccord before tucking the puck in backhand.
The Kraken responded quickly as Jared McCann made the score 1-1 just under two minutes later. Jordan Eberle threw a shot on net that Stuart Skinner turned aside but McCann crashed the net and had the rebound bounce off of him and in.
Seattle took a 2-1 lead a couple of minutes later. Some good forechecking work by former Oiler Kailer Yamamoto helped the Kraken get possession in Edmonton’s end and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare deflected a shot from the point past Skinner.
The Kraken added to their lead before the second period came to an end. Eeli Tolvanen threw a shot on net and Alexander Wennberg scored on the rebound after faking out Skinner.
It looked like Seattle was going to cruise to victory but Evander Kane brought the Oilers to within one goal with just over six minutes left in the game. Evan Bouchard jumped in from the point and threw a pass into the high slot that Evander Kane tipped past Daccord to make the score 3-2.
In the final minute of regulation time, Kane scored again to knot the score at 3-3. Seattle wasn’t able to clear the puck off of a faceoff in their zone and the Oilers worked a quick passing play that Kane finished from the doorstep.

Kane completed his hat trick with the game-winner in overtime. The Oilers are now suddenly on a three-game winning streak.
