The Edmonton Oilers got back in the win column on Tuesday night with a 6-3 win over the Nashville Predators.
Leon Draisaitl continued his dominance over the Preds with a five-point game, Zach Hyman scored the first hat trick of his NHL career, and Jack Campbell made 29 saves in his return to Edmonton’s net.
Below are the highlights from the game…

THE DAY AFTER IS PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Things looked ugly for Jack Campbell early in the game. Just over one minute into the first period, Roman Josi took a quick shot from the point and Cody Glass tipped it past Campbell to give Nashville a 1-0 lead…
The Oilers tied the game mid-way through the first period. Leon Draisaitl won a faceoff back to Evan Bouchard and Zach Hyman tipped his shot past Kevin Laniknen…
Hyman scored another gritty goal just a few minutes later. Draisaitl worked the puck into the high slot and fired a shot on Lankinen and Hyman stayed with the rebound and jammed it into the net…
Draisaitl himself finally got on the board in the dying seconds of the first period while the Oilers were on the power play. There should have been zero doubt in anybody’s mind that he was going to score a one-timer goal on the power play in this game against Nashville…
Ryan Johansen got the Preds back in the game a few minutes into the second period. Filip Forsberg fed Johansen in the faceoff circle and he fired a one-time shot past Campbell…
Under a minute later, Draisaitl regained Edmonton’s two-goal lead. He picked up the puck at the Oilers’ blueline and drove past an anonymous Nashville defender and snapped a shot glove side past Lankinen…
The rollercoaster ride continued as the Predators made the score 4-3 in the middle of the second frame. Roman Josi sent the Preds in on a four-on-two and Dante Fabbro roofed a shot on Campbell from the high slot…
The Oilers again finished the second period by scoring a back-breaking power play goal. This time, it was Connor McDavid doing his thing…
With just under three minutes to go in the third period, Zach Hyman iced the game by scoring the first hat trick of his NHL career…
