The Edmonton Oilers have tied their series with the L.A. Kings at two games each following a huge overtime win on Sunday night. Below are the highlights from the game…

GAME HIGHLIGHTS ARE PRESENTED BY BETWAY

The Oilers had a few chances to score early on but the Kings were the ones to open the scoring just under 10 minutes into the game. Kevin Fiala busted into Edmonton’s zone and fired a shot on Stuart Skinner and Gabe Vilardi banged in the rebound…
A few minutes later, L.A. extended their lead to 2-0. Viktor Arvidsson took a pass just outside of Edmonton’s blueline, spun around Vincent Desharnais, and sniped a shot five-hole on Skinner…
With Cody Ceci in the penalty box, the Kings scored another goal to give themselves a 3-0 cushion. Darnell Nurse and Desharnais were unable to clear a loose puck in Edmonton’s zone and Anze Kopitar came in and deked out Skinner for his second goal of the series…
The Oilers got their first power play opportunity of the game a few minutes into the second frame when Alex Edler was called for tripping. Leon Draisaitl fed a pass to the point for Evan Bouchard who wired a one-timer past Joonas Korpisalo to put Edmonton on the board…
Later in the frame, Draisaitl scored to bring the Oilers to within one goal…
And in the dying minutes of the frame, Draisaitl scored again to tie the game at 3-3. This one came with Kevin Fiala in the box for tripping and it was Draisaitl’s sixth of the series…
Though the Oilers went into the second intermission with all of the momentum, it was the Kings who grabbed the lead back in the third. Defenceman Matt Roy snuck into Edmonton’s zone, took a pass from Viktor Arvidsson, and deked out Jack Campbell before tucking the puck between his stretched-out pad and the post…
The Kings had a great chance to ice the game with a two-goal lead with just over five minutes to go in the third but Campbell made a huge stop to keep the score at 4-3…
Not long after Campbell’s stop, Evander Kane came through in the clutch, as he sniped a shot over Korpisalo’s glove side to knot the game at 4-4…
For the third time in four games, the Oilers and Kings went to overtime. Edmonton got a prime chance to score when Adrian Kempe took a cross-checking penalty on Evan Bouchard but the Kings killed off the power play. Not long after, Bouchard fired a pass up the ice for Zach Hyman and he came in and sniped a shot past Korpisalo for the win…
